Description: Emerge does not contain an option to update any security related e-builds. Overview description: Emerge should have an option to only update packages which are important to system security. Example: People maintain systems where there is need to only update software which has some security hole found. Like "emerge system" updates only some software, there should be option "emerge security", which would check from "minimun version" file that installed software is up-to-date. For example installed apache is v.xx and in it is security hole. Emerge checks that in "minimum version" there is apache v.xx-r2 and updates apache and/or other software which got security holes.
