Oh well, just noticed, that more or less the whole gnome stuff installs its reference docs, even though -doc use flag is used. that's definitely not user documentation and i bet i'm not the only one, who is not interested in it.
well if it gets installed anyway, it is not optional .. so we have no say about it. But serious, we've known this for a long long time and never got around to spending time on it & nobody ever noticed. The problem really is the different interpretations of the gtk-doc switch over time imho, there are a few packages that 'do it right'.

What the gtk-doc option does is up to individual packages. There's no way to generally fix issues like this. If there are issues with specific packages, bugs for those packages are warrented.
