Description Todor Zviskov 2004-11-21 15:29:25 UTC
Gv4l (http://gv4l.sf.net) 2.2.4 has been released. Please do a version bump. Also, there's a small issue with transcode (required by gv4l) >= 0.6.13. Gv4l needs transcode to be configured with:

--enable-v4l --enable-gtk --enable-sdl --enable-X --enable-lame

otherwise it won't work. Currently I don't see any use flags for v4l, gtk, sdl in the transcode ebuild and those are NOT compiled by default (as it was in versions prior 0.6.13).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

2.

Maybe include --enable-v4l --enable-gtk --enable-sdl when X we got use flag in transcode >= 0.6.13?

Just a thought...

transcode-0.6.14.ebuild

Attaching a suggested ebuild for transcode-0.6.14 that should allow gv4l-2.2.4
to work correctly.

Will take a look at it.

In portage. Thanks for the transcode-ebuild, It was the base of the one I committed to cvs.
Gv4l works like a charm here but it needs some more testing before we can mark it stable. Please open new bugs if something goes wrong.
Cheers,
Marc.
