There is a bug in Firefox 71 and gcc9, that requires a patch. A few other distributions had the same issue, and fixed it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
If FF71 is compiled with GCC, use any of the affected addons.
See the redhat link for more info.
Actual Results:  
Local storage weirdness. Many addons just don't work.

Expected Results:  
No regression

Have you synchronized repository and rebuilt www-client/firefox-71.0 after fix made about 9 hours ago (without revision bump)?:

I see, because the version didn't bump since I built it, it appeared to not have changed. I'll force a rebuild and report back.

I force-rebuilt Firefox 71 with the patch in portage, and it resolved the issue for me.
