Today with the ViewCVS I've got outdate information. I've change 2 files on the weekend which are no shown as well as I couldn't find the latest GWN newsletter. 1) got nothing to do with the docs-team 2) viewCVS is indeed late, again. There's been a similar problem last week. Don't know what or who solved it, but it's back. Maybe infra can tell us more? 3) you can grab the xml source with the passthru trick: wget -O 20041025-newsletter.xml http://www.gentoo.org/news/en/gwn/20041025-newsletter.xml?passthru=1 Documents on www.g.o are up-to-date, only viewCVS is not in sync.
we have two web nodes -- viewcvs was up-to-date on one of them (the master) but not on the second one (the slave, which rsyncs from the master) Running a manual sync now to at least get it current. not quite sure why it didn't update in the first place, though. We haven't touched the code that does that syncing in some time. If you notice it being out of date again, can you please update this bug? I'll leave it open for now until (and if) we can identify the root cause.

There's some issue with rsync: rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (4464752 bytes read so far) rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(189) it does that repeatedly. not sure why yet. investigating.
Today viewcvs is still out of sync. Don't know if it has anything todo with the rsync problem, but the latest news [1], which I've commited over 24h ago, isnt' still on the website. Seems there is also a sync problem. [1] http://www.gentoo.org/news/de/gwn/20041025-newsletter.xml
