With the evergrowing amount of packages out there today, and the amount growing each day, new, but also advanced users might need a hand on finding what program they might want to try/use. For instance, what filemanager should I use? Yeah it's all about choices, but there's so many of them, what is the best one to try out first? That and what if I don't want to spend 3 hours trying out several filemangers just to find which one I'd like best? I therefor suggest some sort of statistics on the online packages page, or somewhere independetly where users can vote for gentoo builds. Idealy gathering statistics from emerge queries would be best and most accurate ... (Freshmeat's rating system doesn't really work, you need to have an account to vote etc for example)
