Description Sam Jorna (wraeth) gentoo-dev 2017-08-18 00:35:58 UTC
Building gnome-base/gnome-settings-daemon-3.24.3 fails with:

> gsd-device-manager-udev.c:27:28: fatal error: gdk/gdkwayland.h: No such file or directory
> #include <gdk/gdkwayland.h>
> ^
> compilation terminated.
> make[4]: *** [Makefile:702: libcommon_la-gsd-device-manager-udev.lo] Error 1

This looks like it requires x11-libs/gtk+[wayland] though I haven't had a chance to test yet.

Naah I don't think that its even used. For most users they can just remove the include, and use gnome and get on with their lives.

What happened to the other bug that was reported for this same issue? It doesn't seem to be marked as a duplicate?
Comment 4 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2017-08-18 07:52:12 UTC
This is now fixed in master. Thanks for reporting.
