Hi, I have noticed, that the djvu plugin (see bug 5504) does not work with mozilla 1.0, when mozilla is compiled with the USE flag "gtk2". Even an unmerge of djvu, and a newly emerge didn't solved the problem. The djvu plugin is not recognized by mozilla (does not show up in about:plugins). Christian
I am guessing it uses gtk1, and thus do not work, as it have unresolved symbols.
First of all gtk2 support for mozilla is buggy and in development anyway, so you can't trust it. You can probably check if comment #1 is true by running mozilla from the commandline with the plugin installed. I wanted to test myself, but i just rebuild my mozilla with gtk1 support again :/
I've also rebuild mozilla-1.0 with gtk1, because it was too buggy for me with gtk2. The plugin itself does not use gtk at all. So I guess it is definitely a mozilla/gtk2 problem. BTW, with the new djvu version (see bug #8295) the problem remains the same. Another reason for me to switch back to mozilla/gtk1.
