Description Stuart Herbert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-15 14:05:29 UTC
Please test this package against PHP 5.0.1.

If the package works, please add a comment to this bug to say that the package works, and close this bug as 'RESOLVED INVALID'.

If the package does not work, please add a blocker against 'virtual/php' (for dev-php/php) or 'virtual/httpd-php' (for mod_php or php-cgi) as appropriate, and close this bug as 'RESOLVED FIXED'.

Thanks,
Stu

testing right now...
Comment 2 Nick Hadaway 2004-08-30 23:02:36 UTC
I was able to run the test "guess.php" from the commandline just fine. (php-5.0.1) It created the dybase database file and ran through the script without any errors.

I had to make some minor changes to the makefile and had to manually create the
extension directory (/usr/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20040412 in my case) to build and copy the dybaseapi.so file to.

Maybe the php builds should create the configured extension directory?
Maybe the dybase ebuild should build the extension and install it in said directory?

bug assignee no longer a dev.
Comment 5 Maurice van der Pot (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-29 10:49:48 UTC
Mass reassign of bugs on orphaned packages to appropriate assignee.
Comment 6 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-04 14:53:14 UTC
This is going bye bye... Upstream dead and the whole ebuild is horribly broken and missing a maintainer.
Comment 7 Luca Longinotti (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-02-25 09:43:51 UTC
Removed from Portage.
Best regards, CHTEKK.
