I disabled USE -glamor and emerged x11-base/xorg-server-1.17.4 x11-drivers/xf86-video-nouveau-1.0.12 and added DRI 3 in etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-device.conf --- Section "Device" Identifier "ConfiguredDevice" Driver "nouveau" Option "DRI" "3" --- and got this result: --- [ 24.605] (II) NOUVEAU(0): [DRI2] Setup complete [ 24.605] (II) NOUVEAU(0): [DRI2] DRI driver: nouveau [ 24.605] (II) NOUVEAU(0): [DRI2] VDPAU driver: nouveau [ 24.605] (II) NOUVEAU(0): DRI3 on EXA enabled [ 24.605] (II) Loading sub module "exa" [ 24.605] (II) LoadModule: "exa" [ 24.605] (II) Loading /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/libexa.so [ 24.616] (II) Module exa: vendor="X.Org Foundation" [ 24.616] compiled for 1.17.4, module version = 2.6.0 [ 24.616] ABI class: X.Org Video Driver, version 19.0 --- runs well ... In 1.0.12 glamor support was removed.
Now that xorg-server-1.18.0 is in the tree, this version bump is rather urgently needed.
