Here any strong requirements for this? I was able to build 43.0.2357.65 release on my laptop with 3GB of RAM.
But now I even can't update to latest ~arch version...

You can try setting I_KNOW_WHAT_I_AM_DOING=1 in make.conf to bypass the check.
