Emerging gnome-bluetooth failed, saying that gob wasn't found. After emerging gob, everything went fine. Perhaps gob should be added to the dependencies of gnome-bluetooth. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge bluetooth-wireless Actual Results: configure: error: Cannot find GOB-2, install from http://www.5z.com/jirka/gob.html Expected Results: I expected emerge to install bluetooth-wireless. # emerge info Portage 2.0.50-r8 (default-x86-2004.0, gcc-3.3.3, glibc-2.3.3.20040420-r0, 2.6.7) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.7 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1700MHz Gentoo Base System version 1.4.16 Autoconf: sys-devel/autoconf-2.59-r4 Automake: sys-devel/automake-1.8.5-r1 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86 ~x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-O2 -mcpu=i686 -march=pentium4 -fomit-frame-pointer" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" COMPILER="gcc3" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/share/config /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O2 -mcpu=i686 -march=pentium4 -fomit-frame-pointer" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs ccache sandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="ftp://ftp-stud.fht-esslingen.de/pub/Mirrors/gentoo/ ftp://mirrors.sec.informatik.tu-darmstadt.de/gentoo/ http://ftp-stud.fht-esslingen.de/pub/Mirrors/gentoo/ http://mirrors.sec.informatik.tu-darmstadt.de/gentoo/"MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="X alsa apm arts avi berkdb cdr crypt cups dvd encode esd foomaticdb gdbm gif gnome gpm gtk gtk2 imlib java jpeg libg++ libwww mad mikmod motif mpeg mysql nas ncurses nls oggvorbis opengl oss pam pdflib perl png python qt quicktime readline sdl slang spell ssl svga tcltk tcpd truetype x86 xml2 xmms xv zlib"
Of course, the command line to reproduce the problem should be as follows X-) ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge net-wireless/gnome-bluetooth
I agree on this one.
