When starting acroread on a 64-bit Gentoo system with 32-bit emulation environment set up, it crashes with

  Fatal System Error: Raise at top of Exception Stack
  Aborted

Copying all relevant libraries and the linker ld-linux.so.2 from Debian Woody allows acroread to run under Gentoo/AMD64. For this to work one has to edit the acroread binary to point to the new linker (don't change the length of the string!).

kugelfang, can you see if you can get this working with the emul libs?
