Description Juraj Variny 2015-02-10 02:42:18 UTC
Renamed 0.2.4 ebuild works.

Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 Dainius Masiliūnas 2015-02-10 10:52:18 UTC
This actually needs a bit more work than that, because the 0.2.5 archive now provides native systemd timers, which should not be activated together with the cron jobs. See bug #533984 for more information.

Looks like the overall consensus about it is to go ahead with installing both but warn users to only have one of the two running at the same time.

Bumped to 0.2.6 already

Side note: I went with https://github.com/masc3d/btrfs-sxbackup (after research through 6 or so btrfs tool options). btrfs-sxbackup has a really effortless incremental backup flow vs I just couldn't figure out how to do incrementals from snapper snapshots. btrfs-sxbackup doesn't do timed local snapshots though. Anyway, maybe interesting to someone.

bumped 0.2.6, but obviously I didn't try to fix the systemd bug (using openrc here). I would just leave this to you (@dainius).

close this bug, since we already have another bug opened for the systemd issue.

thanks
