Meld 3.12 requires the dconf back end for gobject/gsettings, but it isn't a dependency in the ebuild. If meld 3.12 is installed without dconf, it is unable to save settings. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install meld 3.12 w/o dconf 2. Start meld 3. Change preference settings 4. Exit meld 5. Re-start meld Actual Results: Changes to preferences are not saved. Expected Results: Preferences should be saved and appear when meld is re-opened.
