I have emerged hevea-1.07, and each time I try to compile a file that uses hevea.sty, I need to provide the full path to the hevea.sty file to latex. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. compile a latex file that uses hevea.sty 2. 3. Actual Results: I have the error: ! LaTeX Error: File `hevea.sty' not found. Expected Results: The file should compile. I searched around, and I noticed that I have the following in my environment: LATEXINPUTS=/usr/lib/hevea/ I tried doing mktexlsr as root (as someone suggested in the mailing list), but it did not help. The output was: charm files # mktexlsr mktexlsr: Updating /usr/share/texmf/ls-R... mktexlsr: Updating /var/cache/fonts/ls-R... mktexlsr: Done.
The problem was that the path needs to be in TEXINPUTS, and not LATEXINPUTS. The env var also needs to be terminated by a ':', or nothing will be found. I fixed the env.d file in CVS.
Could you please release this fix as hevea-1.07-r1? I have just noticed it was changed without changing the version (and my system thought that hevea was up to date). I have reemerged it manually, but other people might miss this fix.
I moved 1.07-r1 to stable, closing bug.
