'default' was replaced with 'emake -C "${BUILD_DIR}" DESTDIR="${D}" install' in src_install, so no docs are installed now. Ebuild should have this in src_install:
dodoc NEWS README TODO

fixed. no revbump, they are only docs. thanks for reporting.
