Description alex Mezey 2014-02-19 09:35:47 UTC
I need both, server and client on my machine. The use flags make this impossible:

 * Found these USE flags for net-misc/tightvnc-1.3.10-r1:
 U I
+ + java : Add support for Java
 - - server : Build vncserver. Allows us to only build server on one machine if
              set, build only viewer otherwise.
+ + tcpd : Add support for TCP wrappers

Please add a client flag which is set by default. Please also make a message which is to be read by eselect news for people who just need the server to deselsct the new client flag.

perhaps a use flag called servandclient would be better because noone would need to change a config who just wants to run a server.

That USE-flag description doesn't make any sense. The client gets built & installed whether server is enabled or not... i'll try to rephrase it.

Updated the server USE-flag description, copying the one from tigervnc.
