Description Paul Blankenship 2004-05-04 17:22:04 UTC
While attempting to install from Minimal LiveCD 2004.1, the boot process did not detect my network interface. I attempted to use a D-link DFE530+(8139too), 3com 509b, Kingston KNE110 (tulip), and a 3com 905b (3c9x). Auto detect did not detect the network interface. While attempting to modprobe any of the above cards, I received the standard "cannot find" errors.

The system is a p3 600EB with an Asus P3B-F, 256MB of RAM, and a 20gig HDD. To resolve this issue so I could get installed, I used my older liveCD which was 1.4 rc4 and autodetect worked perfectly.
