this is a minor bug, but if you don't know that you do have a 8139too network card you won't know that you have to load this driver :) This only happens with the 2004.1 live cd - universal x86 (i didn't try any other 2004.1), worked fine with 2004.0 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have a 8139too card 2. use gentoo 2004.1 universal x86 live cd Actual Results: there was no error message (as far as i remember) which said that the driver couldn't be loaded, had to load it via modprobe and worked fine Expected Results: it should have just loaded the driver like 2004.0 did :)
