Hello, 5 of 11 mirrors in the 'ruby' mirror group in the profiles/thirdpartymirrors file appear to be dead. These were checked as part of an analysis of all third party mirror lists. The dead mirrors should probably be removed, and there may be a more up to date mirror list upstream that can be used. Here is a status of all 'ruby' mirrors: bad: http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/languages/ruby good: http://xyz.lcs.mit.edu/ruby bad: http://pluto.cdpa.nsysu.edu.tw/ruby bad: ftp://core.ring.gr.jp/pub/lang/ruby bad: ftp://ftp.chg.ru/pub/lang/ruby good: ftp://ftp.fu-berlin.de/unix/languages/ruby good: ftp://ftp.idaemons.org/pub/mirror/ftp.ruby-lang.org/ruby good: ftp://ftp.iij.ad.jp/pub/lang/ruby bad: ftp://ftp.kr.freebsd.org/pub/ruby good: ftp://ftp.ntua.gr/pub/lang/ruby good: ftp://ftp.ruby-lang.org/pub/ruby Thanks!
Thanks for checking. The upstream list on https://www.ruby-lang.org/en/downloads/ is also outdated with the broken mirrors still listed. Also, of the mirrors that can be reached many don't have the latest releases. I have updated our list with the mirrors that I verified to work. I've sent upstream an email about this as well.
