I don't want to get notifications for 100 random gnome packages, because I don't care about them

if I recall correctly the notifications for gnome releases is not correlated with WebKitGTK+ :-)

You miss the point. He closed this bug report as duplicate of gnome 3.10 release and CCed me on that one.

Dear Pacho did so, because net-libs/webkit-gtk-2.2.2 is in the tree already, and comes within gnome-3.10.

moreover I have opened another bug report requesting a bump of net-libs/webkit-gtk-2.2.3 :-)
