Description Michael Grigoriev 2002-07-11 09:15:39 UTC
On several machines I observe the same problem. Galeon consistently crashes if
you close it with more than one tab open. The one time i managed to get a
meaningful stack trace out of it, it showed that the problem was in some
gtk_set_tooltip function. Unfortunatly, i can't get it to start under gdb
anymore, so i can't give you any more details. But it does crash every time so i
guess you should not have trouble reproducing the problem.

All the machines are via/amd with
sys-devel/gcc-2.95.3-r7
net-www/mozilla-1.0-r2
net-www/galeon-1.2.5

Everything is compiled with march=i686 -O3, but i don't think it's an
optimization issue - i've tried recompiling my galeon and gtk with -O2, and the
problem still happens.
