Hi, please stabilize net-firewall/iptables-1.4.20 (we need iptables-1.4.20 to stabilize net-firewall/shorewall*-4.5.19+, see bug 478224): - net-firewall/iptables-1.4.20 was added to tree on August, 10th 2013 (>30 days). - There are no bug reports against this version. - There is a meta bug against iptables for adding systemd support, see bug 479490, but I don't see a reason why this should block the stabilization of iptables (and depending packages). Thanks! Reproducible: Always
Hi, according to # equery meta net-firewall/iptables this package has no maintainer at all: > Maintainer: None specified So I am in doubt if anybody will ever read this stabilization request. Is it OK if I CC arches at the end of this week or do I really have to wait 30 days...?
Arches, please test and mark stable: =net-firewall/iptables-1.4.20 Target keywords: alpha, amd64, arm, hppa, ia64, ppc, ppc64, sparc, x86 PS: I waited almost a moth, asked multiple times in IRC but nobody responded yet. Please don't kill me if I am doing something wrong (e.g. I am not allowed to CC arches). Please tell me what I should have done instead... thanks.
Stable for HPPA.

You don't seem to be in the base-system herd which maintains this package, so you are certainly not allowed to call stabilisation requests. Can we get an ACK from someone who is?

I think we should wait for their decision - either ack on stabilization or closing this as WONTFIX
Base-system says proceed with stabilisation. no further delay.
arm stable
amd64 stable
x86 stable
@Arches: May I ask why it takes so long to get net-firewall/iptables stabilized? >60 days since base-system confirmed to process with stabilization (comment 6)... Is there anything we can do/help with or are you just understaffed?
ppc stable
ppc64 stable
sparc stable
ia64 stable
alpha stable. Closing.
