If lvm2 is build without udev, mounting only LUKS partitions fails with 'Operation aborted' in PCManFM.

Furthermore, sys-fs/udisks[crypt] enables a runtime dependency on cryptsetup which has nothing to do with the description of the crypt USE flag.
