It is masked for testing. So far those have broken deps on your arch. As usual, I did not drop keywords otherwise that would mean you would have to rekeyword ~80 packages instead of a couple. Because of this, once texlive 2013 will be ready to be unmasked I will move the mask to your respective profiles, that is: profiles/arch/$you/package.mask Here is the list: s390 only: >=media-libs/harfbuzz-0.9.10 media-gfx/graphite2 ( app-text/texlive-core/texlive-core-2013.ebuild: DEPEND: ~s390(default/linux/s390/13.0) ['>=media-libs/harfbuzz-0.9.10', 'media-gfx/graphite2'] ) all: >=dev-texlive/texlive-langeuropean-2013 ( new package, dep of app-text/texlive, merged from various texlive-lang* ) Note: you might not hit it, but due to the tons of blockers involved, portage is not able to find an upgrade path for my setup. I've had to remove some dev-texlive/* when upgrading from texlive 2012 to texlive 2013. Please also report any collision or build failure you might encounter, I've hit a lot and added the relevant blockers but it might be incomplete. Thank you!
Marked ~hppa.
Keyworded on alpha.
1.5 months later, no point in waiting more. unmasked globally and moved the masks to your profiles. once you are done remove the relevant mask from your profile + 11 Aug 2013; Alexis Ballier <aballier@gentoo.org> arch/arm/ChangeLog, + arch/arm/package.mask, arch/ia64/ChangeLog, arch/ia64/package.mask, + arch/powerpc/ChangeLog, arch/powerpc/package.mask, arch/s390/ChangeLog, + arch/s390/package.mask, arch/sparc/ChangeLog, +arch/sparc/package.mask, + arch/x86/ChangeLog, arch/x86/package.mask, package.mask: + move texlive mask from global to arch profiles, bug #475124 +
~arm added and package.mask removed in arm subprofile.
dev-texlive/texlive-langeuropean-2013 keyworded for mips. I think this was all it was needed for us
~x86 keyworded and package.mask profile entry removed.
When approximately can texlive-2013 stabilized, at least on the major arches (amd64 and x86)? All versions of media-gfx/asymptote (including the currently stable one) can produce pdf output only with >=dev-texlive/texlive-latexextra-2013, see bug #481076. The only way to get a working asymptote is to install ~arch asymptote and texlive-2013. Debian has included a few packages from texlive-2013 into texlive-2012, called it 2012-r1 (or what's the Debian term for it), and stabilized it. Probably, it's better not to do this, but just stabilize 2013.
Keyworded on ppc and ppc64. The mask on all dev-texlive/texlive-*-2013 and friends (in profiles/arch/powerpc/package.mask) were removed.
All arches have keyowrds.
