Description Cye Stoner 2004-04-08 02:23:37 UTC
After an 'emerge unmerge xfree && emerge xorg-x11' I no longer have a /lib/GL.so

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Emerge xfree
2. Grab a CVS snapshot of DRI
3. Install DRI
4. emerge unmerge xfree && emerge xorg-x11
5. try to open any app that requires libGL.so
Actual Results:
Programs complain about missing libGL.so

Expected Results:
not trashed libGL.so
Comment 1 Cye Stoner 2004-04-08 02:25:48 UTC
I'm currently trying a reinstall of DRI... this should be an easy workaround.
Comment 2 Panard 2004-04-08 05:07:36 UTC
try
$ opengl-update xorg-x11

It should be fairly clear that if you install something outside of our package management system (such as DRI CVS), our package management system doesn't know about it.
