Comment 5 Torsten Bronger 2013-12-13 13:31:04 UTC
I updated the bug report on LensFun's side:

LensFun has stolen this code part from rawstudio but since then, the code has diverged.

I recommend to compare LensFun's cpuid.cpp with rawstudio's rs_detect_cpu_features() routine in
http://rawstudio.org/svn/rawstudio/trunk/librawstudio/rs-utils.c

However, I don't write C well, and assembler not at all. Can anybody here help out?

We have a patch now here: http://developer.berlios.de/patch/download.php?id=3536

Please test it and report whether it removes the problem for you.

I can confirm that this patch apply and build finely on lensfun 0.2.8.

Thanks Torsten

Lensfun's maintainer has applied the patch today.
