I don't have much idea of what changed or why it fails with this so please bear with me.

PLEASE COMMENT ON THIS BUG ONLY IF YOU CAN POINT AT HOW TO FIX GENERAL FAILURES.

Could we try to unmask boost-1.53

Is it feasable to unmask boost by just inserting rdepends on ebuilds known not to work with boost-1.53 ?

I found several higher ebuild in the tree of portage:
# sys-cluster/ceph-0.61.1
# net-libs/wt-3.2.3
# net-libs/libkolabxml-0.8.4
# x11-libs/libyui-ncurses-2.43.4  at openSUSE
# media-libs/openimageio-1.1.7 has cmake-boost-fix.patch #465868

sci-mathematics/rstudio-0.98.490

also fails to build with dev-libs/boost-1.53.0-r1, but it has been installed with dev-libs/boost-1.52.0-r6 successfully before.

Versions prior to 1.55.0 are masked, closing this as FIXED
