Description Matt 2004-03-16 04:43:02 UTC
Rather than wasting too much space here, I will direct you to the forum for reports from numerous people sharing this problem. Seems it hasn't been posted in bugzilla yet. The hardware in use in my case is an ibook2.

This bug can be closed. Masking the gcc 3.3.3 branch fixed this problem.
Comment 2 Luca Barbato gentoo-dev 2004-04-12 18:58:37 UTC
marked as LATER since in the future it could appear again
Comment 3 Lars Weiler (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-10-31 13:10:15 UTC
gcc33 and 2.4-kernel are not supported any more on ppc. Closing this bug.
