Description Zac Medico gentoo-dev 2012-10-14 18:56:09 UTC
<ferringb> zmedico: I need you to change the (portage version: blah) commit message, if the vcs is git, to a proper git footer
<ferringb> zmedico: Portage-version: blah
<ferringb> zmedico: correction; Package-manager: portage-whatever # instead
<ferringb> we have paludis footers in use, and pkgcore will also at some point
<ferringb> zmedico: the cvs->git conversion, portage's current will become; Package-manager: Portage 2.2.0_alpha137/cvs/Linux x86_64
<zmedico> ferringb: to clarify, repoman's commit footer should be something like "Package-manager: portage-2.2.0_alpha137", right?
<ferringb> zmedico: right, just to be absolutely frigging clear- that differing footer business should *only* be done if the vcs is git
Comment 3 Zac Medico gentoo-dev 2012-10-15 00:30:22 UTC
This is fixed in 2.1.11.27 and 2.2.0_alpha138.
