This is regression since 2.6.39, fixed by commit https://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git;a=commitdiff;h=5250def1935443f4bbddce101281e0aaf2e66838 in 3.4 branch but 3.4 is unstable on my laptop. Would be nice to have this patch in gentoo-sources-3.0

I've backported it to 3.0 (corrected file paths only) and put patch in the attachment
