while trying to emerge siag 3.5.7, make fails with multiple syntax errors and missing character errors. 

I have tried to re-emerge & the same fault occures

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge siag
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
make crashes out

Expected Results:  
make siag
