While emerging kde on a new system kdemultimedia depends on mpg123. Part-way into the emerge there is an "internal compiler error: Floating point exception" I'm not sure what that exactly means, but I will post all that emerge told me to post... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start with a clean gentoo install (first boot after building the system) 2. Emerge xfree 3. Emerge kde Actual Results: tabinit.c: In function `make_decode_tables': tabinit.c:83: internal compiler error: Floating point exception Please submit a full bug report, with preprocessed source if appropriate. See <URL:http://bugs.gentoo.org/> for instructions. Preprocessed source stored into /var/tmp/portage/mpg123-0.59s-r2/temp/ccqOdan9.out file, please attach this to your bugreport make[2]: *** [tabinit.o] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/mpg123-0.59s-r2/work/mpg123' make[1]: *** [mpg123-make] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/mpg123-0.59s-r2/work/mpg123' make: *** [linux-i486] Error 2 !!! ERROR: media-sound/mpg123-0.59s-r2 failed. !!! Function src_compile, Line 62, Exitcode 2 !!! (no error message) Expected Results: Build mpg123 and continue emerging kde :)
Please post the output of emerge --info as requested on the bug submission page.
I tried, but the file wasn't where it said it would be. In about an hour My laptop will be running the same emerge, so if it fails I will be able to... If it doesn't then I'll try with my other system to obtain that information...
