Description Sergey S. Starikoff 2012-06-07 07:05:36 UTC
This week, during migration system on new hardware (changing arch from x86 to amd64) I've find that /etc/conf.d/consolefont contains the following comment:

(NOTE: if you do
# not want to use it, run "rc-update del consolefont boot" as root)

But really on this stage rc-update show | grep consolefont shows nothing.
So, for correct locale display in console of my new system I've had to add it as recommended:
# rc-update add consolefont boot

To my mind the best solution of this issue will be:
1. Moving comment to start from new line :)
2. Changing the comment to something like (excuse me my English):
# (NOTE: if you want to use a custom font, add it to this file and
# run "rc-update add consolefont boot" as root)

The release team doesn't create the conf.d files, therefore I'm reassigning to the openrc team.

This is fixed in commit de36b26.
Thanks for the report.
