Created attachment 307749 [details, diff] texi2html5-indent.diff A patch from [1] fixing build failure. It seems to work OK for me with different versions of texi2html, but searching around some people seem to have encountered breakage with <texi2html-5.0. [1] https://gnunet.org/svn/gnunet/contrib/texi2html5-indent.diff
This is the next error, with the attached patch applied. make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/jer/portage/dev-util/indent-2.2.11-r1/work/indent-2.2.11/src' Making all in doc make[2]: Entering directory `/home/jer/portage/dev-util/indent-2.2.11-r1/work/indent-2.2.11/doc' /usr/bin/texi2html -expandinfo -monolithic `if test -f indent.texinfo; then echo indent.texinfo; else echo ./indent.texinfo; fi` Undefined subroutine &Locale::Messages::dpgettext called at /usr/bin/texi2html line 29500. make[2]: *** [indent.html] Error 25 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/jer/portage/dev-util/indent-2.2.11-r1/work/indent-2.2.11/doc'
If I replace ::dpgettext with ::dgettext in /usr/bin/texi2html, all is fine, but that appears to be a bug in texi2html, not indent.
I have added the patch in dev-util/indent-2.2.11-r1, but I'd like the texi2html issue resolved before closing this bug.

I think the [R]DEPEND in >=app-text/texi2html-5.0 should restrict that to the newer version.
Since bug #410787 is out there now, I guess this one is done.
