update of gettext breaks after compaints about beeing unable to open_rw /proc/self/maps wich is r only. Kim, I assume your running grsec or some other security enable kernel with java built into your system. If so follow the instrucitons on bug #31972 If thats not the case then note that here so this can be reassigned correctly.
