Description Kim Sönksen 2004-02-08 07:23:08 UTC
update of gettext breaks after compaints about beeing unable to open_rw /proc/self/maps wich is r only.
I'm not a linux-geek, so I dont know whats to do to fix this, since I know that chmod is not possible on proc-fs.

:(

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge -u gettext
2.
3.

Actual Results:
emerge stopps - /tmp/sandbox-gettext-0.12.1-2790.log says "pen_wr:
/proc/self/maps" six times

Expected Results:
;)

Kim,
I assume your running grsec or some other security enable kernel with java built into your system.

If so follow the instrucitons on bug #31972
If thats not the case then note that here so this can be reassigned correctly.
