Three more bugs have been found with the openrc 0.9.8.2 stable, which can cause issues during booting and shutdown. So the openrc team has put out a new bugfix release for them.

bug 400903: boot failure on older kernels without cgroups
bug 400967: boot failure if /etc/mtab is missing
bug 401269: revert the net shutdown changes for users with WOL/ppp needs.

in the preinstalling phase i've obtained a lot of

scanelf: rpath_security_checks(): Security problem with relative DT_RUNPATH '../librc:../libeinfo' in /var/tmp/portage/sys-apps/openrc-0.9.8.4/image/lib64/librc.so.1

but for everything else on amd64 is ok
