Description Milan Ševčík 2011-11-09 19:24:30 UTC
After installation of dbus-1.4.16-r2 evince stops working with pdf files. When called with path to pdf file, no window comes up, when opening the file from its context menu, it just won't do anything (but it doesn't freeze).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge sys-apps/dbus-1.4.16-r2
2. restart dbus
3. open pdf file with evince
Actual Results:
Nothing will happen

Expected Results:
Opening the pdf file.

Are you sure is dbus that's the problem ?
Are there any warnings printed, if evince is ran in a terminal ?
Comment 2 Milan Ševčík 2011-11-09 21:02:18 UTC
Hmm, now everything works fine, probably I forgot to run cfg-update (even though I thought I did) or I don't know. The problem was with loading /var/lib/dbus/machine-id. Sorry about that...
