kernel .config from 3.1.0 (as created by make oldconfig from 3.0.7)
Comment 4 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-11-01 19:15:44 UTC
Hrm I can't test on 3.1.0 yet myself, as I don't know how nvidia works on it.
Comment 5 Roman Porizka 2011-11-09 09:36:23 UTC
I've got the same problem on 3.1.0 with

03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 5100 AGN [Shiloh] Network Connection

on Lenovo T400. On 3.0.6 the wifi is working just fine.
Comment 6 Hans Vercammen 2011-11-09 14:02:51 UTC
Patch in mainline [1] fixed it for me

Comment 7 Mike Pagano gentoo-dev 2011-11-09 17:27:37 UTC
Thanks for the pointer to the patch, this will be in the next release of gentoo-sources-3.1.0-r3
Comment 8 Stephan Menzel 2011-11-26 12:02:15 UTC
I can confirm this is fixed.
Comment 9 Mike Pagano gentoo-dev 2011-12-11 19:39:05 UTC
Patch is available in >= gentoo-sources-3.1.5
