Does upgrade to glibc 2.13-r4 help ?
Comment 2 Dirk Gouders 2011-08-10 15:09:09 UTC
Thanks for the hint.

I tested it on a machine with glibc-2.13-r4 and it works.

Tomorrow, I will emerge --sync and then try it again on the
machine where I noticed the problem.

Comment 4 Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-08-10 16:52:10 UTC
Pacho, I assume the bug number you used as a duplicate is wrong
Comment 5 Rafał Mużyło 2011-08-11 13:33:45 UTC
That probably meant to be bug 374107.
Comment 6 Dirk Gouders 2011-08-12 10:10:57 UTC
I upgraded to glibc-2.13-r4 and after that mono emerges fine.
Comment 7 Rafał Mużyło 2011-08-12 18:34:10 UTC
"works for you"!="fixed"
Comment 8 Dirk Gouders 2011-08-12 19:04:26 UTC
Sorry, I thought the upgrade to the newer glibc can be seen as a fix.
