Please stable. No testsuite available. Simple test, download ftp://ftp.wwpdb.org/pub/pdb/data/structures/divided/pdb/fx/pdb3fxb.ent.gz, unpack and run /usr/libexec/ccp4/bin/extract -chain pdb3fxb.ent. diff pdb3fxb.ent_new pdb3fxb.ent should show some changes in coulmn 5.
