Due new-style glib-2.28 url handlers for web and mail, desktop file needs to also add: x-scheme-handler/http;x-scheme-handler/https; to "MimeType=" to let it appear in gnome-default-applications-properties Thanks a lot Reproducible: Always
Sounds simple. I'd appreciate some more success reports before we make the change (I'm not using GNOME).

With chromium-9999, chromium is no more proposed as default browser. I don't know if it is related to this bug but it is a very recent issue. See attached screenshot.

Fixed in >=chromium-11.x, thanks!
If it was fixed, it was without revbumps: MimeType=text/html;text/xml;application/xhtml+xml; ...
Would you like me to also do this for stable chromium? I've done this together with ~arch version bump, and I didn't revbump the hard masked and live ebuilds.
I'm running ~arch and the MimeType wasn't fixed, so the bug is still there..
I'm sorry, it seems there was a confusion here. I fixed the problem in 11.0.696.25. Please re-open if the problem is still present in that version.
