x86 stable net-misc/wicd-1.7.0 doesn't work with x86 stable python-2.7: http://bugs.launchpad.net/wicd/+bug/602825
So i think we should stablize wicd-1.7.1*, or backport patch from that bug to wicd-1.7.0. If you prefer last way, i can do this work.

naaa.. wicd-people are just too lazy (to cool?) to do releases.  The beta is rocksolid :)  

and... who said that we are going to stable python-2.7?

Oh, that's my fail — i forgot that i added python:2.7 to package.keywords.
So this can be closed as INVALID?

Ok. I will do wicd maintenance day soon... but not now. Thanks for the reminder.
