Description Enno Gröper 2011-02-15 12:51:55 UTC
The images {hand,info,warn}.{png,eps,pdf} are missing in /usr/share/texmf-dist/tex/latex/notes

This seems to be only an issue in the stable texlive ebuild.
It uses texlive-module-notes-2008.tar.lzma from the gentoo mirrors which doesn't contain the images.
The newer texlive-module-notes-2009.tar.xz does contain them.

This should be fixed or a newer texlive ebuild should be stabilized.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge dev-texlive/texlive-latexextra-2008-r1
2. Use \usepackage{notes} in a LaTeX-File
3. Use one of the boxes, i.e.
  \begin{warningnote}
    My Warning
  \end{warningnote}
  in your .tex
4. compile the .tex file

Actual Results:
error| File `warn' not found.

Expected Results:
The file should compile and show the warning note box with the corresponding icon left of it.

I assume it is fixed in the 2010 version too, right?

Yes, it is. Sorry. I didn't check this before writing the report.
