I wonder if the libraries that aren't free software (namely libXm, libMrm, libUil) should be split off to a separate package like emul-linux-x86-motif? Not all users may like to install a non-free package, and only few of the reverse dependencies require Motif.
Will try to look at this for the next emul set, I didn't know some users didn't like their licenses :-/
> I didn't know some users didn't like their licenses :-/ If users have ACCEPT_LICENSE="-* @FREE" in their make.conf then they can't install the package without adding it to their package.license file. I've done a quick scan over the reverse dependencies of emul-linux-x86-xlibs, and I could only find net-misc/icaclient as a package that requires the Motif libraries. Not sure if there are any others.
Package openmotif-compat has been last-rited. All OpenMotif libs are in x11-libs/openmotif now: - SLOT 2.2 for soname 3 - SLOT 0 for soname 4
