Quoting your build.log:

Please do not file a Gentoo bug and instead report the above QA
issues directly to the upstream developers of this software.

Comment 4 David J Cozatt 2010-09-19 21:45:42 UTC
I'm sorry - I thought Gentoo would want to run QA on any package installed
by portage. WONTFIX to me should reflect an upstream stance about software
and we should not close for this with QA issues. If you as a developer see the
issues as trivial though and note it I would perhaps reconsider.

Otherwise how would we be able to say anything of the security of a Gentoo system?

You are right, but gentoo QA project says this is an upstream thing. Nevertheless, if you provide a patch, I will include it directly. But I will not write/fix it myself.

@QA
Was this handled correctly?
Comment 6 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2010-09-20 07:15:49 UTC
here's a better idea: write the patch, add it to the ebuild, and submit it upstream. how hard exactly is it to add "#include" to a few files ?
Comment 8 David J Cozatt 2010-09-24 12:27:08 UTC
confirm- qa issues no longer reported by build process

I'm reopening bug because QA notices resurfaced (amd64,stable toolchain).
