Program segfaults whenever I try to type anything into the text box on the
bottom after logging into a mush.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open gnome-mud
2. Connect to a server
3. Start typing 

Actual Results:  
Segfault

Expected Results:  
Keep running allowing text to be entered
