revdep-rebuild complains on it equery b /usr/lib64/libpoppler-glib.so.4 [ Searching for file(s) /usr/lib64/libpoppler-glib.so.4 in *... ] app-text/poppler-0.14.1 (/usr/lib64/libpoppler-glib.so.4) ldd /usr/lib64/libpoppler-glib.so.4 linux-vdso.so.1 => (0x00007fff7e5d7000) libpoppler.so.4 => not found ... Rebuild doesn't change this linking issue.

It did work for me both times, but maybe that's to do with the circumstance that you have a different libdir.

Restore ewarn instead. I hope this revdep-rebuild issue won't happen again... - so good people please stay away from this ewarn and do *not* introduce preserve-old-lib never again without consulting it with me :P
