Description Paweł Hajdan, Jr. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-08-07 19:29:02 UTC
Could you bump ffmpeg to 0.6_p24715 or later, so that we can use it in www-client/chromium?

For more details see https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=331343#c9

Let me know if I can help more with testing.

you can already put that dep in chromium 9999; it'll pull ffmpeg 9999

Id rather wait before making a new snapshot so that we can have 0.6 stable soon.

I'm fine with that. Feel free to close this bug, I can just use the new dependency when it appears.

ffmpeg turned out to be more complicated issue with www-client/chromium. I'm closing this bug, because now it's not obvious whether this bump will fix things, and more recent www-client/chromium uses bundled ffmpeg anyway.
